How we work

How buying works?
  • You press the "buy now" button, or we reach an agreement through negotiations.
  • We perform all domain transaction by using a third-party escrow agent, see details. The escrow agent protects both buyer and seller: it ensures the legitimacy of the money, and oversees the domain transfer.

How do domain name transfers work?
There several options. If the escrow company that oversees the domain transfer requires that the domain must be registered at certain registrar (for example, Namesilo), then you would require to create an account at this registrar, and the domain will be transferred into this account. In other cases (for example, EscrowDomains), we provide the transfer code that allows you to transfer the domain to your favourite registrar. In some cases the domain could have a 60 days ICANN lock on it (due to a recent transfer). If this is the case, then the domain can be transferred into your account only within the same registrar. We would inform you if this is the case before the payment, also we can wait (upon agreement with you) until the lock period ends.

Can I transfer my domain between registrars?
Yes, every ICANN accredited registrar (we use only ICANN accredited registrars) is obligated to allow you to transfer your domain to a different registrar. There are some restrictions though: you can transfer between registrars only once in 60 days. Upon arrival to new registrar, your domains will be transfer-locked for 60 days (mandatory ICANN 60 days lock).

Can I use a Scheduled Payment Plan?
Yes, that's possible.
Please see details.

How do I transfer domain between registrars?
Domain transfers are fairly a straightforward process of changing the domain from one registrar to another. To begin, go to the domain's current registrar. Unlock the domain and obtain an Authorization Code. Then, go to the new registrar and initiate a transfer. Follow the steps provided by the new registrar.

What’s included with my purchase?
When you buy a domain name from our marketplace, you only pay a one-time cost and the ownership of the domain name passes from us to you.
Once you’ve purchased the domain name, there are no restrictions on how you can use it.

Do I get a website with the domain?
No. There are no websites included with the domain names.

How long does it take to transfer my domain?

Our domain names for sale are already registered at Godaddy, Namesilo; some at name.com, Namecheap, Dynadot & moniker (all accredited companies by ICANN).

The transfer can take between Immediate to 7 days depending on the registrar where the domain is registered, and the registrar that you willing to use.

In order to transfer the domain fast right after your purchase, we recommend using the same registrar where the domain currently resides.

In certain cases, if the domain name has a registrar lock on it due to a whois update, it can’t be transferred to a different registrar within 60 days, but we can still transfer to the same registrar.

When the domain name registration expire after the transfer?

Once the domain name is successfully transferred to you, then it is Active for the term of the registration.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify and renew the domain registration before the expiration date. Annual registration costs vary, between $9-$12 per year, per .com domain.
